The bottle pays tribute to the past 15 winners of the Glenfarclas Cross Country Steeple Chase, with each horse listed in order. The 15 Year Old whisky is the first in a trilogy celebrating the continued Glenfarclas sponsorship of the famous Cross Country Races for another three years. To further mark the occasion, a share of the profits from the sale of the bottles will go directly to the Jockey Club’s charity partner, Racing Welfare.

Each edition is comprised of only 3,000 bottles and is filled in clear glass, allowing the natural colour of Glenfarclas to shine through, making this an extra special bottling as Glenfarclas usually bottle the 15 Year Old in dark glass. The label reflects the 3 litre bottle presented to the winning owner and trainer, so everyone purchasing this bottle can feel like a winner!

TASTING NOTE:

NOSE: Complex, sherried, deliciously peated, light butterscotch aromas, with a hint of dried fruit.

FLAVOUR: Full bodied with a superb balance of sherried sweetness, malty tones and peaty flavours.
