We are extremely excited to have Hannah from Blackadder hosting an online tasting for us to explore the fantastic range of whiskies that Blackadder have.
This set is an EIGHT 25ml DRAM cornucopia of Cask Strength whisky indulgence the likes of which we have never seen! (can you tell we’re excited?) and on the night you can look forward to the following:

• Black Snake Vat 4 – 6th Venom 61.2% abv
  Produced from a Vatting of casks finished in a Single Butt. Starting life in first-fill ex-Bourbon casks, three casks are put in new Oloroso/PX butts and matured for another year before bottling. 1/3 of the casks are held back to start the next batch hence the ‘Vatting’
• Red Snake 60.6% abv
  Red Snake only comes from top-class, first-fill ex-Bourbon casks. However, unlike its Black Snake brother, each Red Snake comes from just one single cask
• Sherry Snake 57.3% abv
  Sharing the same heritage as Black Snake and Red Snake whiskies, Sherry Snake is bottled from First Fill Sherry Butts
• A Drop of the Irish 46%
  Irish Single Malt
• Raw Cask – Smögen 2012 10yo First Fill Bourbon 61% abv
  Raw Cask is the leading brand of Blackadder and celebrates the true ‘Raw’ aspect of single cask whisky that is not chill-filtered or heavily filtered. Expect to see some lovely cask char in your dram!
• Raw Cask – English 2010 12yo 63PPM 2nd Fill Bourbon 64.7% abv
  Raw Cask is the leading brand of Blackadder and celebrates the true ‘Raw’ aspect of single cask whisky that is not chill-filtered or heavily filtered. Expect to see some lovely cask char in your dram!
• Raw Cask Peat Reek – Blended Islay 2012 10yo 30PPM Oloroso Cask 58.6% abv
   For Blackadder Peat Reek, only casks of whisky produced using malted barley that has been heavily impregnated with the phenols and creosols of a gently-smouldering peat fire are used to produce an outstanding smoky dram.
• Statement – Inchgower 1995 20yo 57.6% abv
  A step up from the Raw Cask range, reserved only for the extra special single casks, the King of Kings!
